Fred, Renee and Poco came to Paris today and we had the perfect thing for all of us to do. We went down to Paris Landing for a picnic and a little fishing. It was lots of fun...a little hot...and Clayton was thirsty...but still loads of fun!!

Graduation in Louisville
Fred left early on Thursday morning to get to Lousiville for his graduation rehearsal. Fred, Renee and Beulah left Memphis around 11:30 and Tim, Dale, Janice, Mun, Clayton, Jack and me loaded our van and left Paris around 2:30. Yes, the van was FULL!!! We all met up in Louisville for a fun evening. We ate at W.W. Cousins and Homemade Ice Cream and Pie Kitchen. Yummie! After dinner we went to the hotel and headed to bed. We all left the hotel around 9 the next morning and headed to Fred's outdoor graduation. I don't know how cold it was, but it was freezing!! Needless to say I am so thankful I spent several hours of my life looking for the perfect spring dress for my husbands outdoor graduation...hehehehe!! Once graduation was over we headed to lunch at Lynn's Paradise Cafe where we all enjoyed indoor heat and a good meal. Tim and Dale headed to Franklin to visit with Helen and to attend Adam's birthday party. The rest of us raced to Paris for Clayton's 6 o'clock t-ball game. We made it to the game at 6:05 and everyone got to see Clayton play a great game. What a weekend!!
The car is unloaded. Jack is eating a bowl of ceral. I am blogging. Fred and Clayton are enjoying Fred's newest graduation toy...a Wii!! I've got to hurry so I can get a game of bowling in before Clayton goes to bed. He always beats me and I'm trying to improve my skills!

No, you are not seeing double!! Our mothers met in the lobby this morning dressed EXACTLY alike!! Too funny!!
An eventful 24 hours!!

Clayton's last day at preschool!
Today is Clayton's last day of preschool! We are so busy with Fred's graduation that we have not had time to think! I took his picture this morning before he left and compared it to his first day of preschool. I cannot believe how much he has grown!! He looks like such a big boy!! His graduation is tonight and we will miss it, but I get to see his rehearsal. I'm really looking forward to it! His teachers were so gracious to allow me the opportunity to come and see the program!

Melody is 30!!! Well, on Monday...
But, we had her party last night. Corey asked me several weeks ago about where to have her party and I thought our house would be the perfect spot. Around 30 people were able to come and I think we really surprised her! The rain held off and we had a wonderful evening! Kudos to Caleb for keeping the surprise for the past several weeks.
Aunt Janice goes to Joyland!
Aunt Janice came in town for a couple days. We had the best time! She got to go to Joyland with Clayton two days in a row and got to go to his t-ball game. Clayton was too excited. Originally she was only going to stay one night, but she learned of our schedule and decided to stay two nights. She told me she was going to stay and I objected, but then Clayton told me to "just let her stay." So, I agreed! It was wonderful having her here!!

Popcicles and Mimi
Jack has been sick the past two days, but about an hour ago he had some Motrin. As you will see in the video he is feeling much better! The doctor told us yesterday to make sure he gets plenty of fluids. We are up for the task and armed with popcicles. Jack and Fred were both eating popcicles and I thought you all might like to hear his version of the word popcicle. How sweet! Mom, stay tuned for a special treat right at the end.
